2. levar as curvas para onde se quer é moroso.
tem de se trabalhar em vários eixos e conciliar as três peças em conjunto.

put that curves in the right place is a time consuming job.
I have to work in several axis with all the three pieces at once.

3. a 2ª curva tem de acompanhar a 1ª (+/-) mas não é por isso que se torna mais fácil.

2nd curve has to follow 1st one (more or less), but because of that is not also a simple task.

4. depois toda a trabalheira é recompensada ao ver o produto final tal como se queria.
a junção em "Y" foi aproveitada (e muito modificada) do velho Toyota.

after all that work I was rewarded seeing the final product as I wanted.
that "Y" junction was old Toyota's reused (& much modified).

5. a semana seguinte foi passada a trabalhar nas panelas de escape. Aproveitei para fazer logo duas enquanto mandava calandrar o corpo principal.

in the next week I worked in the mufflers. I ordered two main bodies for that purpose.

6. os tubos que eu preparei para fazerem o trabalho no interior da panela.

the tubes I prepared for making the job inside the muffler.

7. ajustando as peças com tudo o que está à mão.
assim como está, parece-me que vai ficar bem posicionado.

adjusting with all type of materials I can get.
like that I think it will be allright.

8. ...pingado.

...tack welded.

9. depois as respectivas fixações, a que vai soldar à panela e a que vai soldar ao chassis.

then the respective brackets, the one I'll weld against the muffler and the other to the chassis.

10. a panela já devidamente soldada.

the muffler already welded.

11. ...e depois para finalizar o trabalho solda-se a bracket.

...and then to finish the job we weld the bracket.

12. agora passamos à 2ª panela, um pouco mais abafada e parecida com a original do Toyota.

now let's go to 2nd muffler, a little less open and similar with original of Toyota's.

13. vejam o interior. Uma tarefa bem chata está à minha espera, aquelas soldaduras lá bem dentro.

take a look at the inside. A really hard job wainting for me, that weldings inside the tube.

14. depois de feitas as soldaduras internas (ufff!), vamos alinhar os tubos.

after all welding inside the muffler (oufff!), we align the tubes.

15. a 2ª panela pronta.

2nd muffler is ready.

16. mais uma bracket.

another bracket.

17. aqui estou eu com as duas primeiras panelas feitas por mim.
já as experimentei e soam muito bem, sem serem ruidosas.
agora só espero que sejam eficazes :)

here I am with my very first two mufflers made by me.
I've already test them and they sound very good, without being noisy.
now I hope they will be efficient :)
