253. Depois de uns tempos com o projecto parado recomecei com a cromagem da grelha. Já é alguma coisa :)

After a while without working on the project I'm back on track with the grill chromed. This is another restart :)
254.  De volta aos guarda-lamas.
Este vai ser a matriz para os g-lamas traseiros.
É o retomar do trabalho já apresentado atrás.
A rede já está coberta com uma camada de gesso e sisal.

Back to mudguards.
This is the buck to rear mudguards and the task retake already shown before.
The metal net is covered by a mix of sisal and plaster.
 
255. Depois de várias aplicações de gesso de presa lenta e passagem do molde radial o trabalho apresenta-se como podem ver.
No entanto é necessário endireitar o arco a partir dos 180º.

After several applications of slow hardening plaster and passage of the radial mold, the job stays like this.
But is necessary to straighten the arc beyond the 180 degrees.
256.  Aqui pode ver-se como foi feito parte do processo.
Os buracos foram cheios como se mostra.

Here it is part of the process.
The holes were filled like shown.
257. Lixar com tacos feitos para o processo.

Sand with pieces made for the purpose.
258.  Aqui as duas matrizes já se encontram em fase adiantada de acabamento.

Here the two bucks are in a late stage of finishment.
259. Agora passamos ao capot. Uma tarefa que tardou pela falta de filtro de ar.
Aqui podem ver como lancei uma primeira peça em cartão grosso, com os rebordos irregulares propositadamente.

Now the bonet. That task was delayed because of the lack of air filter.
Here you can see how I used the cardboard with irregular borders.
260.  Depois foi tudo apurado com pequenos pedaços de cartolina.

Then more accuracy with little pieces of thin cardboard.
