 Building a Sevenesque

131. A traseira. O tubo da direita vai ligar ao depósito de combustível. O da esquerda (travões) vai encontrar-se com o tubo flexível de ligação ao eixo rígido.
Os P-clips (abraçadeiras especiais) são da marca JCS Hi-Torque.

Rear compartment. The pipe at right follows the way to fuel tank. The left one (brakes) awaits for flexible pipe that will connect to live axle.
P-clips are from JCS Hi-Torque brand.
132. Estas constantes mudanças de sector são devidas a paragens numa sequência que foi interrompida devido a factores alheios à minha vontade. No entanto, para não parar, mudo de sector.

 Aqui podem ver o diferencial e eixo finalmente preparados para pintura.

These changes of sector are due to stoppages in the works against my will, but for non-stop, I change to other works.

Here you can see the live axle and diff finally
masked and ready for painting.
 
133. O eixo depois de pintado e com a junta preparada para colar com verniz (à maneira antiga) e apertar a pinha do diferencial.

134. Entretanto vejam o meu novo ajudante :-D

135. Antes de fechar o diferencial, vejam o excelente estado duma peça com quase trinta anos.

Before close the differential, see the excelent condition of a near thirty year old piece.
136. O eixo completo já montado.

The live axle already in place.
137. Pormenores. As porcas irão ser substituídas por porcas com freio, mas só quando o carro estiver no chão.
Repare-se ao fundo que ainda não chegaram os tubos de travão flexíveis.

Details. The nuts will be replaced with nylocks, but only when the car will be on the floor.
Note in the background: the flexible brake hoses did'nt yet arrived.
138. Mais pormenores. As peças do tambor foram zincadas. Na extremidade a peça de transformação de PCD Toyota 116.4mm para Ford 108.0.

More details. The drums were zincified.
In far right the piece that transform Toyota's PCD 116.4mm to Ford's 108.0.
139. Voltando ao tabique e respectivo acabamento em alumínio para o compartimento do motor.

Fazendo o molde em cartão.

Back to scuttle and respective finish in aluminium facing to engine compartment.

140. Passagem para o alumínio. Como não consegui arranjar chapas protegidas com película, tive de colar alguma nas zonas de contacto com as máquinas de corte e quinagem.

Drawing the lines. As I didn't find aluminium with protective film, I had to put some bits in the contact areas with cutting and folding machines.
