- Porto). Aqui está a grande bracket por baixo do radiador. Now I'll try to adjust the nosecone to chassis by using special brackets and Dzus fasteners (represented in Portugal by nice guys - UTEC -Porto). Here is the big bracket under the radiator.

O nariz na parte de apoio em cima do chassis, depois de apertado. A seguir a esta fase, Outono 2004, voltou a haver uma paragem no projecto durante o Inverno e parte da Primavera de 2005, tal como o ano passado. Efectivamente o Inverno não é muito motivador. Nosecone over top rail, already fastened. After this stage, Autumn of 2004, another break in the works, during Winter and Spring 2005, like last year's. It's a fact, the Winter is not a motivating season. |

Os trabalhos regressaram. Estamos na primavera de 2005. Voltando ao chassis, junto ao tabique é necessário soldar uma barra chata onde vai assentar o bordo posterior do capot. Este trabalho não é dos mais aliciantes. Muito rigoroso e depois tem de se ir soldando na parte de baixo, o que é sempre dificil.

Como vamos saltando de tarefa em tarefa, desta vez encontrei a solução para
a ligação da água quente com alguns tubos usados que tinha em stock e
aproveitei para meter o termostato a meio caminho. Este foi aproveitado de
um Renault 5 ligado a um tubo de aço inox e vai servir para ligar a
ventoínha. Não esquecer que o Toyota tinha-a sempre ligada à polie da bomba
de água. Jumping tasks... this time we reutilized some hoses and put a Renault 5 thermostat jointed to a piece of stainless steel. That will switch the electic fan. Don't forget Toyota used a mechanical fan working all the time. |
